REXON YSF-1 series Online Oil Moisture Tester for Industrial Oils Real-Time Water Content Monitoring

REXON YSF-1 series online oil moisture detectors are specially designed by our company for measuring water content in oils. These devices provide both online monitoring and portable measurement capabilities for lubricating oils and insulating oils, ensuring optimal equipment performance. For instance, moisture significantly impacts the insulation properties of transformer oil. Therefore, continuous monitoring of transformer oil is essential.

Water content measurement in oil is analogous to air humidity measurement. The water content in oil can be characterized by both absolute values expressed in ppm and relative values measured using the water activity (AW) parameter.

REXON YSF-1 system enables direct measurement of water activity (AW) and temperature (T) in oil. These parameters allow for the calculation of absolute water content (ppm) in transformer oil, and can be extended to determine water content in other oils, such as non-mineral transformer oils and lubricants, through calibration of specific parameters.

The YSF-1 Online Oil Moisture Detector enables continuous, real-time monitoring of water content in industrial oils. By providing instant measurement of moisture levels, it allows operators to quickly detect water contamination and take timely action to prevent equipment damage. This real-time monitoring helps maintain the reliability and safe operation of critical equipment such as transformers, turbines, and hydraulic systems.

2. High Accuracy with Water Activity (AW) Measurement

The system directly measures water activity (AW) and oil temperature (T), ensuring precise and reliable moisture analysis. Through these parameters, the device can accurately calculate the absolute water content in ppm, providing a more scientific and reliable evaluation of oil condition. This advanced measurement method improves the accuracy of moisture detection compared to traditional testing approaches.
