Centrifugal oil purifiers are widely used in industries such as power generation, marine, mining, metallurgy, and manufacturing for treating industrial oils, including lubricating oil, turbine oil, diesel, and fuel oil. Centrifugal separation offers an efficient and continuous way to remove large quantities of solid contaminants, sludge, and free water from oil.
The working principle of a centrifugal oil purifier is based on the difference in density between oil, water, and solid contaminants. During operation, contaminated oil is fed into a high-speed rotating bowl. Under strong centrifugal force—thousands of times greater than gravity—heavier substances such as water and solid contaminations are rapidly separated and forced outward, while lighter, cleaner oil remains closer to the center. This process allows the purifier to remove large quantities of solid contaminants and free water. So, the centrifugal oil purifier is especially suitable for oils with high contamination levels or high viscosity. Also, centrifugal oil purifiers are commonly used for pre-treatment before the oil refinery.
Because centrifugal separation does not rely solely on filter elements, it reduces filter element consumption, allows continuous operation, and minimizes consumption cost.
